This painting was done at the beginning of spring and the end of winter...the last snow. I love the contrast of snow on green trees, and the shapes the snow makes on the branches. I am sometimes sorry to see winter go, though the promise of spring and new beginnings, renewal, is filled with hope and inspiration.
