Snow Melt
I’ve been preoccupied with snow and water. When I was painting this picture I could feel the mist from the water and hear the roar of the rushing, pounding water. The volume of water was amazing! I’m inspired by John Muir who used to hike in the Sierra alone and would climb a tree in a snowstorm, swaying around, and howling. Though my endeavors are much more tame in comparison, I enjoy the elements and being in nature and do sometimes howl in its presence.
