Rolling Rocks and Snow, Mt. Shasta
Shasta Mountain, spring, 2021 I often create a painting by combining the joy I feel when outside, with the joy of painting. This one makes me really happy. I like the wavy movement and the cotton ball clouds. I wanted to create that sense of vertigo when you are at the base of something really huge like a skyscraper or a mountain. I did this by making the foreground shapes larger than the peak.
Painting, Oil on Canvas
Size: 24 W x 24 H x 1.5 D in
Domestic shipping included (excludes Hawaii and Alaska), please contact directly for international shipping rates.
