Joanne Evers has over 25 years painting in a variety of mediums. Her philosophy, rooted in studies with Wayne Thiebaud and others in California's scenic Sacramento Valley, stresses the importance of personal exploration. Natural features such as leaves, rock formations, clouds, and landscapes form a strong motif. Her Trees series examines reverence and mystery in nature.
